Idea
In 'Philophobia,' the painting delves into the intricate emotions surrounding the fear of love and intimacy. It vividly portrays the emotional transformation from love to fear, emphasizing the internal turmoil that arises when the longing for affection becomes an overwhelming source of fear.
This artwork offers perspective on the complex emotions tied to the fear of getting too close, ultimately reminding us that love, while beautiful, can also be a source of profound apprehension.
Process
In creating this painting, Jenni aimed to expand her artistic techniques beyond digital art and blend them with physical methods. She started digitally, then transferring the piece onto a canvas. Her goal was to seamlessly integrate the mediums of digital and traditional painting, enhancing the piece with additional details and textures using acrylic paint.
